DESCRIPTION
Luxima is a dedicated Wood stove with a tough thick steel body, a large, warp-free cast iron door providing maximum viewing angles of the impressive fuel bed. The Luxima is a simple-to-operate stove with precision controllability and high performance.
The ultra-stylish Luxima Wood burner is one of the latest additions to the Portway range of dedicated Wood stoves. One of the main features of this tough steel-bodied stove is the large, warp-free cast iron door to allow maximum viewing of the impressive fuel bed. This stove is exceptionally easy to operate with precision controllability, providing long-lasting burn periods.
This stove benefits from a 10-Year Guarantee and is fully compliant with the Eco design directive, exceptional EU standards set to improve the environment by producing highly efficient stoves that offer clean-burning, with ultra-low emissions.
This stove is rated Energy Class A and is fully approved by the HETAS Cleaner Choice scheme, meeting the most stringent emissions criteria, achieving a 50% improvement on particulates against currently recognised requirements within UK Smoke Control Areas.
Hardwood is a perfect fuel for wood-burning stoves and includes varieties such as Ash, Birch, Maple and Oak, also wood from a wide range of fruit trees. Hardwood logs are renowned for burning for longer periods while generating a good amount of heat. To achieve the cleanest burn time with maximum efficiency performance, we recommend burning kiln-dried natural hardwood logs. Dry firewood or seasoned wood fuel is made up of dry logs that are ready to burn due to having been stored for at least six months or dried in the open air.
